I think ol' Jake's been trying to make some extra money off that worthless piece of land he's got up there near Gopher's Gulch. He's been busting' up rocks so that he can ship them on Ol' No. 12 over to Buckham county. But 'fore he could do that the Snugg Harbor Railroad has to build a bridge over the gulch so that they could get to a good flat loadin' place. Why that new Pony Truss Bridge that they build is strong enough to carry full loaded gondolas plus Ol' No. 12 without so much as a groan. Got to hand it to that railroad crew. They sure can get things done.
