Help support Ronald McDonald House with your purchase of this item and help us give back.
In 2009, our son 14 year old son Justin was diagnosed with bone cancer. He spent 9 months undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment at Seattle Children's Hospital. We lived about 4 hours away from Seattle, so during that time we stayed at the Seattle Ronald McDonald House. I can not express how fortunate we were to have a local place to stay. It became our "Home away from home" during that difficult time. Can you imagine having to pay for a hotel room or rent an apartment in Seattle for 9 months?
Ronald McDonald house provides rooms with beds and a bathroom, a community kitchen area with locked storage cabinets to store your personal food & cooking items, an exercise equipment room, and the ability to check out video games & movies for the children and their families.  About every other week or so, a community group would come and cater dinner for everyone staying there. With everything else going on, it was such a blessing to have that extra support!
Ronald McDonald House also provided access to other incredible donated gifts & services like opportunities to go to the zoo, baseball games, and other outings. These were things that normally would not have been accessible for families like ours staying out of town with limited funds and helped make the time spent there more bearable.
For families with children going through extreme health crises, Ronald McDonald House is a Godsend!
Thank you for your purchase and for helping us support their mission!
