Here's a neat piece of travel decal memorabilia!  This 48 STAR AMERICAN FLAG souvenir from the UNION OIL COMPANY was given away to visitors to WASHINGTON as an advertising premium in the 1950s.
In first class condition for its age and rarity, it does have minor creasing (mostly to the background card) and edgewear and slight curving of the sides. It measures just over 5" wide by 2 1/2" tall.
Travel back to the days when gas stations gave these great water decals away (and had a "service station man" to apply it), and be sure to add it to your collection.
