    Walter Koerschner (1924-2017)
    Kalispell, Montana

    Walter Koerschner worked for the Navy at China Lake, California as a technical illustrator. Between 1983 and 1991 he created paintings for the Air Force Art Program. He has paintings in the permanent collections of the Pentagon and the Air Force Academy. When he retired in 1991 he and his wife moved to Kalispell, Montana where Walter continued to paint.
    This is a painting along the roadside of Hwy 35 outside Kalispell. Dates to 1995. Frame measures 16" by 20 1/2". Exposed measures 11 1/2" by 16". Signed lower left. Annotated with artist info, location and date verso.
